Many players waiting for the release of InZOI hope that the game will have a multiplayer mode. But, unfortunately, multiplayer is not expected in the near future. The developers have explicitly stated that they are not even considering adding it yet, as the implementation of such mechanics requires too much resources. Although multiplayer support would be very useful in InZOI – many people would like to play this life simulator with friends. But for now it won’t be possible to do it…
The thing is that it is very difficult to create multiplayer mode in such a game, where there are a lot of character interaction mechanics. You need to work on synchronization of actions, server infrastructure and reworking a lot of game mechanics. Therefore, the creators decided to focus on single-player mode and the possibility of modding the game. InZOI will support mods right after release!
Recall that the game will be released in early access on March 28. This means that a lot of features and capabilities will be added in future updates. Earlier we published a list of changes that you should expect in the planned updates. The addition of multiplayer support wasn’t there. So, the possibility of multiplayer play with other players over the network will appear not soon. On the other hand, InZOI developers are actively listening to the community’s requests, and if a lot of players ask for multiplayer, it may encourage them to start working on it soon.
